ABOUT US         
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students' Sports Council was formed in the Year 1994 with the objective to bond and introduce the CCAs Club,
and to promote as well as introduce all kinds of sports activities in NP.
The Students' Sports Council Committee is currently into its 18th year running for 2011/2012.
Students' Sports Council is zestful about fostering bonds that last a lifetime, introducing as well as promoting all sorts of sports activities that could very well excite the inner sportsman within. Our committee is bunch of enthusiastic, highly energized and caring special group of individuals. We also strongly believe in the meaning of playing hard and giving our best in all that we do, all in the name of fun. We organize several activities throughout the year such as Interactive Day, Polympics, and even Sports Camp for prospective freshmen. Students' Sports Council annually organizes Sports Camp, a major event that involves different clubs coming together, to expose the freshmen to as many CCAs as possible. In addition to that, it is also a great way for the freshmen to widen their circle of friends and familiarize themselves with the school environment before school starts. With a wide variety of activities offered, there's bound to be something for everyone! |
SPORTS CAMP 12/13 
Sports Camp is the only sports oriented camp in Ngee Ann Polytechnic! We provide you first hand experience with different sports such as Dragonboat, Archery, Fencing, Canoe Polo, MuayThai, Touch Rugby and many more. Besides offering you such endless array of sporting experiences and challenges, we get you ready for school as well. Opportunities for you to familiarize your way around school and making new awesome friends will provide you the best headstart for your poly life! •tsk tsk just an update on dinner and dance. Dinner and dance is being planned as it is. However, the number(which would be too unpleasant to disclose) is extremely disappointing. just a brief reality check, we did conduct a survey on the number of people who would be keen in attending this dinner and dance. initially, to our pleasure; the majority of you expressed your interest. However, till date, the numbers are just disappointing. We believe this is just blatant deceit and pretense. of course most would conveniently utilize the "i have no money" or "i have no date" lines. if there are any honest cases of financial difficulty, do not hesitate to contact us and we would strive to assist you in the best way we mortally can. if you do not have a date, nothing to fret about; its OKAY. enjoy the evening with your friends and our company. we would sincerely hope that more of you would turn up for this annual dinner and dance. • President of SSC CGLs and GLs of SSC Sports camp listen up! This is the first time i am blogging because i think its time for me to step into this issue. We choose the CGLs for a reason, not because they got better leadership than the GLs. We choose them for a reason that i don't think we need to tell you. I agreed that some GLs got more experience and better leadership qualities than the CGLs but if you are unhappy about anything, please do not post it in the blog and create havoc! If you have any problems, you can always talk to the person face to face if not, you can always tell me, Syafi, or anyone in the committee, and settle the problem maturely. Why must you tag it and let every know about your unhappiness? If anyone were to blog about that issue again, as the president of SSC, will not hesitate to take away your post as a GL or CGL. •3RD GL Training hello everyone, I'm back to post up some new pictures taken during the 3rd GL training! Dated: 28th November 2006 Tuesday. Once again.. thanks you people for coming down for the training despite it is a physical training tis time round.. =)) hope the campus run wasn't too tiring for u guys.. but tis is a Sports Camp so.. we have to lift up to the standard for the coming Sports Camp.. =)) And i know that some people can't make it for this training as there are common test during tis week.. hope to see you guys coming down for the next training next year.. haha.. sounds so long but its jus 1 month more.. i suppose.. guys work hard for Common Test ya.. •2nd GL trg hello everyone, im back here with some pictures for da 2nd GL trainings! Dated: 24th November 2006 Friday.
