Hello People!!

GL TRAINING HAVE OFFICIALLY RESUMED!! YAY!!

CONGRATULATIONS to the chosen 64 GLs who have made it pass the interview! You guys have made it this far so do take this chance to further prove yourself worthy as our SC GL's! It's the beginning of a wonderful journey that you will never forget! We hope that you will honor whatever you have said to us during the interview and not let us down

Things to Bring: RECENT passport-sized photo of yourself (Must!)

Interviews will be held in groups of 3, so do not be afraid of being alone in front of the committee. It will be held on a first-come-first-serve basis, so do be early! We will only be interviewing 30 GLs per night; so do not procrastinate till the last night to be interviewed! Do help to spread the word around if you see your friend’s names in the list too!

Lastly, for those whose names have not been shortlisted,please do not be disheartened. You probably have not shown us what you gotduring the past 4 trainings. However, if you still strongly feel that you havethe capabilities to be a Sports Camp GL and you are confident that you canimpress us, we welcome you to come for the interview.

POLYMPICS 2011!

HELLO ALL!

It's the time of the year ONCE AGAIN for us to live in the joy of competition and sweat it all out for glory! YES! We're talking about POLYMPICS 2011! The Students' Sports Council (SSC) has brought back the highly popular event, this time round with more attractive prizes and incredible program lineup for each and every participant to enjoy!

Unlike the usual rule whereby students can only form teams within their own... school faculties, this time round, YOU CAN FORM A TEAM WITH ANYBODY YOU LIKE! (provided that all participants are NP students :P)

Here are the 6 different sports we have:

Basketball (Males)
- 3 Players + 1 Reserve (4 per team)
- Purely male teams
- Max 1 IVP/POL-ITE member per team

Basketball (Females)
- 3 Players + 1 Reserve (4 per team)
- Purely female teams
- Max 1 IVP/POL-ITE member per team

Floorball
- 3 Players + 1 Reserve (4 per team)
- Mixed teams
- At least 1 female on court
- Max 1 IVP/POL-ITE member per team

Frisbee
- 5 Players + 3 Reserves (8 per team)

- 5 Players + 2 Reserves (7 per team)

Apart from the sports competition, do look forward to the highlight of this year’s Polympics which is …… THE AMAZING RACE! It will be held on the last day of this event, which falls on a Thursday, 17th November! Limited slots only, it will be on first come first serve basis! :) Medals will be given away to the Top 3 teams for each sport and for the Amazing Race! CCA Points will also be given to all participants!

So, quit hesitating! Start forming your teams now, and sign up with us at our registration booth!

Finally the long-awaited interview list is here! Firstly, congratulations to all of you who are selected and listed here for the interview! All you have to do is to turn up for the interview on the respective days and impress us with whatever you got for further affirmations.

Date: 3rd - 5th January 2011

Timing: 6pm - 8.30pm

Venue: Blk 72 Room 03-13/15

Definitely Must Bring: Passport Size Photo of your beautiful face

Interviews will be held in groups of 3 so do not fear of being alone to face the committee. It will be going according to first-come-first-serve basis. Please do not wait and procrastinate till the last day of interview then you decide to appear.

Secondly, for those names that are not mentioned below do not be dishearten and dejected. Probably you have not shown what you got during the trainings or you just do not have what we are looking for. No hard feelings alright. However if you still do feel extremely certain of your own capabilities and confident of impressing us, feel free to still turn up for the interview as we welcome you for a second chance.

Hello!

Just a reminder : There will be NO GL training this friday (10 Dec 2010).

Instead, GL Training 4 will be on next friday, 17 Dec 2010, after your common tests! Be prepared for an even more exciting, fun and enjoyable training! So do come down and enjoy yourselves with your friends before the term break :D

Please be punctual and gather at the sports galley at 5.30pm on 17th Dec for GL Training 4. Come in your sports attire (including shoes) and do bring an additional set of clothes in case you would like to change after the training.

Polympic 2010

Hello all,

This is the long awaited Polympics all of your have been waiting for!

This year we are having, Netball, BasketBall, Frisbee, Floorball, Volleyball, Futsal and Rock Climbing by X-Ventures!

We are having our booth during 1st November 2010 til 10th November 2010 at the Student Plaza, Ngee Ann MAIN Bus stop if you don't know, from 11am onwards till 5pm!

Form teams with friends of same school/division and look forward to fighting against friends against other school to have the ultimate trophies back to your division!

We are having a CARNIVAL during the finals so friends coming down to support can come and have fun together at our Carnival stations where there will be fun filled games for all ages to join and have fun! :) What's more, there will be ATTRACTIVE PRIZES TO BE WON!!

Once again, Registration booth is on 1st November til 10th November 2010!
