ABOUT US         
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students' Sports Council was formed in the Year 1994 with the objective to bond and introduce the CCAs Club,
and to promote as well as introduce all kinds of sports activities in NP.
The Students' Sports Council Committee is currently into its 18th year running for 2011/2012.
Students' Sports Council is zestful about fostering bonds that last a lifetime, introducing as well as promoting all sorts of sports activities that could very well excite the inner sportsman within. Our committee is bunch of enthusiastic, highly energized and caring special group of individuals. We also strongly believe in the meaning of playing hard and giving our best in all that we do, all in the name of fun. We organize several activities throughout the year such as Interactive Day, Polympics, and even Sports Camp for prospective freshmen. Students' Sports Council annually organizes Sports Camp, a major event that involves different clubs coming together, to expose the freshmen to as many CCAs as possible. In addition to that, it is also a great way for the freshmen to widen their circle of friends and familiarize themselves with the school environment before school starts. With a wide variety of activities offered, there's bound to be something for everyone! |
SPORTS CAMP 12/13 
Sports Camp is the only sports oriented camp in Ngee Ann Polytechnic! We provide you first hand experience with different sports such as Dragonboat, Archery, Fencing, Canoe Polo, MuayThai, Touch Rugby and many more. Besides offering you such endless array of sporting experiences and challenges, we get you ready for school as well. Opportunities for you to familiarize your way around school and making new awesome friends will provide you the best headstart for your poly life! •GL Camp To all GLs, Please take note of the following information for GL Camp : Date: 3-3-09 to 5-3-09 Time: 08 00 sharp Venue: Hall Packing list will be issued on a later date. So watch this space. CGLs NO LONGER need to collect your GLs indemnity forms from SSC clubhouse at 5.30pm on friday(27/2/o9). But check your emails instead. See you guys at GL Camp. First of all, congratulations to all of you who are selected! Truth is, you have gone through the justifiable number of GL trainings with us, and now we are proud to have you known that you surely displayed what we have wanted to see in our GLs. So, Cheers to the shortlisted baby! But! you are actually needed to go through an interview with us before further affirmations. Date: 3rd-5th of Feb, (Tue-Thu) If you have no clue where the room is, start practicing your initiative with a school map or something. Like Ben and Aaron said, interviews are held as a group of 3 of less so, do not fear. It is also in a first-come-first-serve basis, and with that said, please do not all come on one particular day out cause that would only equate to more waiting for you and I both. Note: Do not procrastinate till to the last day of interview then only you decide to show up. Second of all, for those whose names are not up in the list, do not feel dejected. Cause that does not warrant your incapabilities. What you can excel in is probably not what we are looking for. And that’s that. No hard feelings. But of course for those who are unselected yet extremely certain of your capabilities, you are still welcome to come down for an interview with us, because we pretty much believe in second chances.
