ABOUT US         
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students' Sports Council was formed in the Year 1994 with the objective to bond and introduce the CCAs Club,
and to promote as well as introduce all kinds of sports activities in NP.
The Students' Sports Council Committee is currently into its 18th year running for 2011/2012.
Students' Sports Council is zestful about fostering bonds that last a lifetime, introducing as well as promoting all sorts of sports activities that could very well excite the inner sportsman within. Our committee is bunch of enthusiastic, highly energized and caring special group of individuals. We also strongly believe in the meaning of playing hard and giving our best in all that we do, all in the name of fun. We organize several activities throughout the year such as Interactive Day, Polympics, and even Sports Camp for prospective freshmen. Students' Sports Council annually organizes Sports Camp, a major event that involves different clubs coming together, to expose the freshmen to as many CCAs as possible. In addition to that, it is also a great way for the freshmen to widen their circle of friends and familiarize themselves with the school environment before school starts. With a wide variety of activities offered, there's bound to be something for everyone! |
SPORTS CAMP 12/13 
Sports Camp is the only sports oriented camp in Ngee Ann Polytechnic! We provide you first hand experience with different sports such as Dragonboat, Archery, Fencing, Canoe Polo, MuayThai, Touch Rugby and many more. Besides offering you such endless array of sporting experiences and challenges, we get you ready for school as well. Opportunities for you to familiarize your way around school and making new awesome friends will provide you the best headstart for your poly life! •Final D&D Announcement. D&D is finally confirmed. It will be held at  on the 10th May at $65. We have reduced the number of people to 80 therefore tickets will be selling fast. So freshies, please pay to your GLs as soon as possible. For those who have missed the deadline for payment, please contact Aaron or Grace. GLs, kindly pass the money to the Committee by MONDAY (5th May). Do note that outsiders are allowed only if he or she has a date from Sports Camp. Here's the map of the location of the hotel. •SSC Recruitment The interview for SSC committee recruitment is over. Aaron and Grace will be contacting the selected ones by this FRIDAY. Congratulation! For freshies who did not get selected, don't be disheartened! Do sign up to be a GL at the end of the year. (: Melissa NPSSC Committee •Just an update on dinner and dance. Dinner and dance is being planned as it is. However, the number(which would be too unpleasant to disclose) is extremely disappointing. just a brief reality check, we did conduct a survey on the number of people who would be keen in attending this dinner and dance. initially, to our pleasure; there is quite a number who expressed your interest. However, till date, the numbers are just disappointing. We believe this is just blatant deceit and pretense.of course most would conveniently utilize the "i have no money" or "i have no date" lines". if there are any honest cases of financial difficulty, do not hesitate to contact us and we would strive to assist you in the best way we mortally can. if you do not have a date, nothing to fret about; its OKAY. enjoy the evening with your friends and our company. we would sincerely hope that more of you would turn up for this annual dinner and dance. •You're Invited to our Dinner and Dance  All Freshies,Sports Camp participants, helpers and fellow GLs. SSC presents to you our Annual Sports Camp Dinner and Dance 2008.The honour of your presence is requested at Le Meridian Hotel at $65nett. Do bring along a date and Party behind a mask(Theme Masquerade). It will be an evening of fun, entertainment and laughter, which I'm sure you wouldn't want to miss. There will be dinner following and a free flow of drinks throughout the evening. We will have games and prizes as well! The event will commence sharp at 7pm. Reception will be from 6-7pm. RSVP with your fellow CGLs/GLs or any of the Committee members asap by this Friday 25th April 2008. Do not hesitate any longer. •You are Invited! Sports Camp 08/09 D&D will be held at Meridian Hotel on 10th MAY (Saturday). Each ticket to enter that aisle of glam, hip, vanity and fame is 65 nett. Kindly pass the money to CGLs/GLs or straight to any Committee member of SSC. GLs, please take down the Name and student number when collecting the money and pass it to us. DEADLINE for collection would be 25th April. So hurry! Sign up and you get to enjoy a fabulous buffet and entertainment with all your friends and dance the night through for this is the last big gathering! •Funday 2008 It will be held on the 16th April from 2pm onwards. Calling all GLs and Helpers who are available to help us in this event to meet us at NP SSC CLUBHOUSE (level 3 of sports complex) . CCA points will be awarded. Attire will be Sports Camp 08/09 shirt and no slippers. If you wish to come down and help, please make sure that you are available throughout the whole event. Melissa Tay NPSSC Committee •CCA FIESTA Hello people! The CCA Fiesta will be on the 14th & 15th April (mon & tues) from 10am to 5pm. All Helpers, GLs and Freshies are welcome to help out to distribute goodie bags at the Convention Hall. CCA points would be given. Attire will be Sports Camp 08/09 shirt and no slippers are allowed. •Annual Dinner & Dance Hey people! As mentioned on the last day of camp, we'll be having a Dinner & Dance for Sports Camp 08/09! It will be either on the 9th or 10th May. Freshies who are interested, do let your CGL know as soon as possible for we need to gauge the number of people going. We hope you guys will sign up as it will be filled with fun and games and you will get to reunite with your sports camp friends! Anyway, do check our blog often for new updates as we will keep you update about the venue, fee and confirmation date. So, see you!
