ABOUT US      
Ngee Ann Polytechnic Students' Sports Council was formed in the Year 1994 with the objective to bond and introduce the CCAs Club,
and to promote as well as introduce all kinds of sports activities in NP.
The Students' Sports Council Committee is currently into its 16th year running for 2009/2010.
Students' Sports Council is zestful about fostering bonds that last a lifetime, introducing as well as promoting all sorts of sports activities that could very well excite the inner sportsman within. Our committee is bunch of enthusiastic, highly energized and caring special group of individuals. We also strongly believe in the meaning of playing hard and giving our best in all that we do, all in the name of fun. We organize several activities throughout the year such as Interactive Day, Polympics, Night Cycling, and even Sports Camp for prospective freshmen. Students' Sports Council annually organizes Sports Camp, a major event that involves different clubs coming together, to expose the freshmen to as many CCAs as possible. In addition to that, it is also a great way for the freshmen to widen their circle of friends and familiarize themselves with the school environment before school starts. With a wide variety of activities offered, there's bound to be something for everyone! |

•Project Nutz 2007 Hey everyone, Just so you know, we SSC don't just work hard, we play hard too. We participated in the Project Nutz Runners Relay, held on Friday 16th November 2007, which was organized by NP Track&Field and SDAR, and won 7th place! •4th GL Training The 4th GL Training will be held on Friday, 30th November 2007. This is the last training for this term as we will soon have our Common Tests. So after this, the GL training will take a short break till further noticed. In addition, this is your last chance to prove to us that you've got what it takes to be a Sports Camp Group Leader, as after this session, only the chosen ones will be allowed to carry on. So be BOLD Be LOUD Be OUTSTANDING and Give It All You've Got. SPORTS CAMP 10/11 - Updated as at 18th Feb '10
 Hello everyone! Thank you very much for everyones enthusiastic response to Sports Camp. It is to my greatest regret and displeasure to inform you that registration for Sports Camp 10/11 - IMPULSE is now officially closed. We hope you continue to participate in any SSC related events in the future. Due to the overwhelming response faced this year, we have done a ballot from the entire freshmen list that had registered. We had adhere to a strict code of conduct to ensure a camp that is statistically well mixed and versed in all faculties. In addition, all selection that has been made was fiercely random. (So please do not ask us why you weren't selected and your best friend was. Haha) However, there are several things to note if you happen to be the lucky few, when I say few, I actually mean two hundred lucky participants few, there are several things to take note of... Things to note if you are selected! i. Notice of Acceptance: You will receive both a SMS and a call from our friendly Group leaders to confirm your acceptance ii. Reporting time: 8am SHARP iii. Reporting Venue: Sports Complex (See map 'Journals' for directions) iv. Special things to bring: Signed consent forms & $15 (Exact amount preferred) Freshmen that has been accepted would receive a call from your Group Leaders (GLs) by 18th of March 2359 to inform you of your placement here, as well as your shirt color that you need to wear on the first day when you report. For those who didn't get the packing list, misplaced it, or perhaps your dog ate it. Freight not, as we keep softcopies! Please refer to the packing list in 'Journals' for a taste of heaven.
